The Leaders

So much has occurred since my last update in May 2021. I was honored to be recognized as a Leader in Real Estate by the Urban Land Institute. In 2020, the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) set out to launch “The Leaders” with the goal to increase the presence of women in the real estate and land use industry, especially in leadership positions and board rooms, as speakers at industry conferences, subject matter experts and everything in between. The intention was to celebrate women who make extraordinary contributions to the built environment. This charge has never been more important, as it is no secret that through this global pandemic women are stretched thin – particularly working mothers. Proud to be apart of the 2021 Cohort.

I also released my ebook, Getting to the 1% of Commercial Real Estate, A Beginner’s Resource.
Featured on the Real Women Real Estate Podcast in June 2021. What a great conversation with the Real Women.

August 6, 2021- Quest Community Development celebrated its 20 year Anniversary as well as its Grand Opening of the Impact Center! I am proud to serve as the Chairman as we continue to provide affordable housing with wrap around services. If you would like to donate to Quest or learn more about its offerings, please click the link.

In between closings, selling real estate, etc. I managed to travel to Mexico, California and Detroit several times over the past few months for business and pleasure. Check out some of the highlights of catching up with friends and colleagues in the real estate industry, meeting with clients and of course some good ole networking.
